Now in its 26th year, the BMW Charity Pro-Am is the only tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour where amateur golfers and celebrities play alongside Korn Ferry Tour professionals in a three-day better-ball competition across two courses. Alongside the Country Club of Spartanburg, Thornblade Club in Greer serves as the second host venue, with play continuing there through June 7th.
A Week Worth Watching
This year’s celebrity lineup includes Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor Bill Murray, retired USMNT star Clint Dempsey, and a roster of returning fan favorites, making it one of the most anticipated fields the tournament has seen. The event is expected to draw more than 45,000 spectators across the week.
Since 2001, the tournament has distributed more than $13.7 million to Upstate South Carolina charities through South Carolina Charities, Inc., an organization we’re proud to be part of this year.
